Gamecocks Ranked 21st by Golfstat, Remain 19th in Golfweek Rankings

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina men’s golf team moved up three spots to No. 21 in the Golfstat Relative Rankings and remained at No. 19 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings released this week.
The Gamecocks solidified their spot in this week’s rankings with a runner-up finish on Tuesday at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate. South Carolina wrapped up the tournament three strokes back of Auburn for the title with a total of 855 (-9). The second-place finish is South Carolina’s seventh-straight finish of third or better, which is the longest stretch of top-three finishes in school history.
South Carolina will wrap up its regular-season schedule on April 5-6 at the Augusta State Invitational. The 54-hole event will be contested at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
