COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina men’s basketball team is undefeated at 3-0 with snow on the ground in Columbia, so the athletics department has planned a “Snowstorm with Whiteout Conditions” for the Saturday contest against the Georgia Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. All fans are encouraged to wear white to the game.
Several promotions are planned to activate the “Snowstorm with Whiteout Conditions” theme. All fans in the lower bowl will receive a free white rally towel and the first 500 students in the Roost student section will get a free white t-shirt. The game against the Bulldogs also features $1 hot dogs as well as a special Family 4-Pack for $44 which includes 4 tickets, 4 drinks and 4 small Dippin’ Dots ice creams.
In addition, a goal has been set of having 2,000 students in the CLA for the Georgia game. Last season, 2,119 students attended the Georgia game as part of the #2KvsUGA promotion. All students will get free lunch as well as a chance to win prizes based upon reaching the 500, 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000 student attendance increments
The Gamecocks’ three remaining home games (Georgia – Feb. 22, Kentucky – Mar. 1, and Florida – Mar. 4) have been put into a special promotional mini-plan. The “Three-Point Plan” sells for $50 and includes a ticket to each game as well as a free t-shirt.
All tickets are available at GamecocksOnline.com/Tickets and by calling 800-4SC-FANS (473-3267).
