COLUMBIA, S.C. – Senior forward Danielle Au was named Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a pair of game-winning goals over No. 7 Duke and UNC-Wilmington this weekend.

Au scored the only goal of the match in the first half in leading South Carolina to a 1-0 win over seventh-ranked Duke. It was the program’s first win over a Top 10 opponent since 2010 and its first win at home over a Top 10 opponent since 2004.

In the season-opener against UNC Wilmington, the senior scored the game-winner just 9:10 into the match as the Gamecocks picked up a 2-0 victory. Au moved into sixth all-time at Carolina with 18 career goals scored.

Au and the Gamecocks continue non-conference play when they travel to Boston University next Friday for a 7:30 p.m. ET match. Visit GamecocksOnline.com throughout the week for match details.

Season tickets for women’s soccer, which includes admission to all home games, are currently on sale in the Gamecock Ticket Office. Fans can purchase tickets online at GamecocksOnline.com, or by calling 1-800-4SC-FANS. Cost for season tickets for men’s soccer is $25 for adults and $10 for youth (17 and under).
