COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Columbia Community Relations Council will both welcome University of South Carolina head men’s basketball coach Frank Martin to town on Wednesday, June 27, as part of “Frank Martin Day” in Columbia.

The Columbia Chamber will host a welcome breakfast where University of South Carolina athletics director Eric Hyman will introduce Martin, and attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand from the coach. City of Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin will be in attendance to officially name the day in Martin’s honor.

The Community Relations Council’s 48th Annual Luncheon, themed “Maintaining Civility in the Community,” will see Martin deliver the keynote address for the event. He is set to arrive at 11:30 a.m., to sign autographs.
