The South Carolina women’s soccer team (11-5-2, 4-3-2 SEC) enters the final week of regular season action with the final home match of the 2002 season vs. Wofford, Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. South Carolina holds a 7-0 series record vs. Wofford, including last year’s 4-0 win in Spartanburg.
South Carolina is coming off a successful weekend in which the Gamecocks clinched a spot in the SEC Tournament next week in Oxford, Miss from November 7-10. Carolina defeated Alabama 2-1 and tied Auburn 1-1 on Friday evening. USC will face a yet to be determined opponent.

With Sunday’s 2-1 win at Alabama, the South Carolina women’s soccer team set a record for single-season wins on the road. The Gamecocks own a 6-2 record away from Stone Stadium as well as one neutral site victory. The previous record of five was set in the 1996 and 1999 seasons.

South Carolina owns a 11-5-2 record and has advanced to the SEC Tournament for the first time since the 1999 season. The record sits right now as the second best in team history, just behind the 1999 team’s record of 14-6.
