COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina women’s soccer team announced a seven-game spring schedule Tuesday that includes home dates against in-state rivals The Citadel and College of Charleston.

The SEC runner-up Gamecocks begin the spring season with a Friday, Feb. 11 home match against The Citadel that is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Stone Stadium. The Gamecocks hit the road the next two weeks with an away game at NC State on Saturday, Feb. 19 before traveling to Athens, Ga., to compete in a double-header against the Georgia Bulldogs (11 a.m.) and Florida State Seminoles (1:30 p.m.) on Saturday, Feb. 26.

Carolina will get to enjoy a week of Spring Break before playing at home on consecutive Saturday afternoons. South Carolina will host College of Charleston at noon on March 19, and the team will host a three-team round robin tournament on March 26. Competing in the tournament are the Charlotte 49ers and Mercer Bears. South Carolina and Charlotte will play at 11 a.m., Charlotte and Mercer will play at 1 p.m., and South Carolina and Mercer will close the action at 2:30 p.m.

The annual Alumni Game will be played April 9 at Stone Stadium.
