Columbia, S.C. – The ninth-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks (9-3-1) head to Charleston, S.C. to take on the College of Charleston Cougars (6-5-1) on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7:00 p.m. The Gamecocks lead the series 15-1-2, with USC winning last year’s meeting, 2-0 in Columbia, S.C.

Leading the way for the Gamecocks is senior Jordan Quinn who has tallied six goals and one assist for 13 points. Anchoring the seventh-ranked defense is goalkeeper Michael Bachmeyer. Bachmeyer, currently ranked eighth in the country, has posted a goals against average of 0.67 and recorded five shutouts this season.

Following the match against the College of Charleston, the Gamecocks return home to host No. 14 Furman on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2:00 p.m. The first 300 fans will receive an adidas scarf. The Gamecock-Paladin matchup will be broadcasted live on the internet at www.uscsports.com.
