2021 (Sophomore)
Battled injuries, but managed to play in seven matches, including two starts … Started the first two matches of the season against College of Charleston and Winthrop … Was a strong contributor to the Carolina back line, but only totaled 394 minutes due to injuries.
2020-21 (Freshman)
Opened his Carolina career with 14 games played in the backfield… Helped Carolina to four shutouts… Recorded two shots, as well.
PRE-COLLEGE
Was a standout at Susquehanna, Ysc and Mountain Range High School…Also notably played with the U-19 USL Colorado Rapids for travel ball.

Sekou Soumah… Son of Marie Toue and Momo Wandel Soumah… Six siblings – Patrick, James, Hassan, Junior, Ibrahim and Amy… Also considered Wake Forest, Virginia, Penn State, Indiana and George Mason… Plans to major in Sport Management.
