• Finished with 10 points and three assists in the Arizona Tip-Off title game victory vs. Grand Canyon (Nov. 19) ; had several crucial buckets down the stretch
• In his lone start, finished with 10 points, three assists and three rebounds in blowout victory vs. Elon (Dec. 22)
• Played a season-high 29 minutes and had 11 points in comeback, overtime victory at Missouri (Jan. 13) ; hit the game-winning shot with 13 seconds left in OT with a fadeaway jumper over 7-foot-5 Connor Vanover
• Dished out a season-high five assists (no turnovers) in road win at Arkansas (Jan. 20)
• Went 4-of-6 from downtown and had 14 points off the bench in win vs. No. 6/6 Kentucky (Jan. 23)
• Scored in double figures again the next game with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists in comeback victory vs. Missouri (Jan. 27)
• Had 10 points, three assists, two rebounds and a steal in win at Ole Miss (Feb. 24)
• Scored a season-high 16 points in a comeback victory vs. No. 24/24 Florida (March 2) ; was 4-of-8 from downtown in the contest

2022-23 (SOPHOMORE)

• Became key contributor in sophomore campaign, playing in 32 games with 15 starts including the final nine games of the season
• Averaged 7.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game ; scored in double figures nine times and dished out three or more assists on 10 occasions
• Started and had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists in season-opening win vs. SC State (Nov. 8)
• Came off the bench in rivalry win vs. Clemson (Nov. 11) and had 10 points, four rebounds and two assists
• Had 13 points off the bench in overtime game at Georgia (Jan. 28) ; was his first career SEC game in double figures
• Was reinserted into the starting lineup at Missouri (Feb. 7) and had 11 points and four assists
• Led the team to a comeback victory on the road at Ole Miss (Feb. 11) with 17 points, five rebounds and four assists ; nailed a go-ahead corner 3 with 44 seconds remaining in the 64-61 victory
• Led the team to victory again on the road with a career-high 18 points at LSU (Feb. 18) ; went 5-of-8 from behind the arc, marking career highs in both categories
• Scored 18 points again the ensuing game vs. No. 2/2 Alabama (Feb. 22) ; went 7-of-10 from the field and 4-for-4 at the free throw line in the back-and-forth, overtime thriller
• Poured in 14 points in a Senior Day win vs. Georgia (March 4)

2021-22 (FRESHMAN)

• Appeared in 31 games making nine starts in first season on campus
• Averaged 3.4 points, 1.8 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game
• Scored season-high 11 points at Coastal Carolina (Dec. 1) and vs. Army (Dec. 22)
• Had eight points, six rebounds and six assists (both season highs) in a 80-67 win vs. Georgetown (Dec. 5)
• Logged four games in SEC play with four assists ; team was 4-0 in those games
• Named to the SEC Community Service Team

PRE-SOUTH CAROLINA

• A four star prospect according to ESPN.com and the No. 4 prospect in the state
• Spent junior and senior seasons at Legacy Early College High School
• Averaged 16.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game as a senior; team captain as a senior
• Top scoring output during senior campaign came in 32-point performance vs. Sunrise Christian Academy
• As a junior, averaged 17.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game
• Spent sophomore season at Fort Mill High School, averaging 25.3 points per game
• Freshman campaign was at York Prep (SC)

PERSONAL

• Son of Chris and Mikisha Wright
• Has a sister, Kiana
• His advice to young people is “believe in yourself, or nobody else will, everyone’s journey is different.”
• Chose South Carolina because “it feels like home, the family environment. I felt like I fit the system, and I felt like the coaching staff and style fit me. I wanted to play at the highest level in the SEC.”
• Began playing basketball at the age of five
• Lists Devin Booker as his favorite professional basketball player
