COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Athletics has put together a great schedule of promotions around the remaining 11 home matches for the Gamecock volleyball team, including its annual cancer fundraiser.
This year’s fundraiser will be known as Dig Pink, and the date is set for Friday, Oct. 1 when the Gamecocks face the Arkansas Razorbacks at 7 p.m. Fans will be able to donate money, which will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, online here or in person at the event.
Many other great promotions are on tap. The first 100 students to the Southeastern Conference home opener against Mississippi on Sept. 24 will get free pizza. On Sun., Sept. 26, hot dogs will sell for one dollar, and the first 100 fans can have their picture taken with the team after the match. Other big dates are the third-annual Garnet, Black and Green match against LSU on Oct. 3 and Kids Day on Oct. 17 against Auburn, when the first 500 fans will receive a Gamecock silly band.
Every Friday match will be a Facebook Friday, with fans who have “liked” the team page with proof at the door receiving a free prize. All the promotions can be found here at GamecocksOnline.com.
