Cocky Appearance Request
General Information
When available, Cocky makes public appearances for community and/or private parties upon request for the Columbia and surrounding areas. Appearances are determined around the USC and Athletics schedules and are subject to be changed and/or canceled in the event of a conflict with a USC and/or Athletics events. Cocky appearances for business requests are reserved for our sponsors only and Cocky is unable to visit High Schools. Each appearance may last up to one hour.
Appearance Fee
Beginning August 1, 2023, the Cocky appearance fee will be as follows:
- University of South Carolina Campus events: $125
- Non-Profit (must submit 501(c)3 documentation to confirm non-profit status): $125
- Gamecock Club member: $250
- Gamecock Athletics sponsor: $250
- General public appearances: $350
In addition, all appearances outside of 10 miles from the Rice Athletics Center (1304 Heyward Street, Columbia, SC 29208) will also be asked to reimburse for mileage at a rate of $0.655 per mile. Please note that appearances outside of 90 miles may incur additional travel fees, including, but not limited to hotel accommodations.
Hotel Accommodations
Hotel accommodations will be requested in addition for any appearance and mileage reimbursement fees outside a 90 mile radius of the Rice Athletics Center (1304 Heyward Street, Columbia, SC 29208) with the below start times:
- Appearances with a start time of/or before 8:00 a.m. (hotel will be requested for the evening prior to appearance)
- Appearance with a start time of/or after 8:00 p.m. (hotel will be requested for the evening of appearance)
How to request an appearance from Cocky
- Please fill out the form below. Forms must be filled out a minimum of six (6) weeks prior to your requested appearance.
- You will receive an immediate automated response email to confirm receipt of your request. This is not a confirmation for the appearance.
- You will be contacted via email regarding availability. This email will come within two weeks of your submission, unless the submission is over two months in advance; in which you will receive correspondence approximately six weeks prior to your request.
