The South Carolina Gamecock volleyball team remained ranked 20th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Poll this week, despite a 3-0 win over the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest. The Gamecocks (18-4, 10-4 SEC) will next face host Tennessee at the SEC Tournament in Knoxville, TN. Action is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16th at the Stokely Athletics Center. Carolina split a pair of matches earlier this season with Tennessee, losing 3-0 in Knoxville on October 7th, but winning 3-1 in Columbia just two weeks later.

The Gamecocks are only one of two SEC teams ranked nationally. The Florida Gators are currently ranked seventh.

Following the SEC Tournament, the Gamecocks will face off in a battle of the Carolinas as they will face the Tar Heels of North Carolina on Saturday, November 24th. The match is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. at the Volleyball Competition Facility in Columbia, SC.
