After stunning No. 12 Penn State, 3-2, on Sunday afternoon, South Carolina men’s soccer improves to No. 10 in the College Soccer News Poll, after being ranked No. 17 last week. The Gamecocks next opponent, SMU, sits on top of the poll, followed by San Diego and Virginia.

In the collegesooccer.com poll, South Carolina remained in the 17th spot,while NSCAA slotted the Gamecocks at No. 19.

South Carolina travels to Charleston, S.C. for the Aaron Olitsy Memorial Classic where they will face No. 1 SMU on Friday, Sept. 7 at 5:00 p.m. and TCU on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 1:00 p.m.
