Gamecock guard Shaunzinski Gortman’s stay in Charlotte lasted only a few hours as the Sting traded Gortman to the Minnesota Lynx for Erin Buescher and Maylana Martin.

Gortman, a 6-1 guard, was the first SEC player selected in the 2002 WNBA Draft on Friday, April 19th as the Charlotte Sting selected her with the ninth pick in the Draft.

Gortman will travel to Minnesota to begin training camp on Monday, April 29th.
