Atlanta, GA – USC’s track and field teams competed in the final day of the Georgia Tech Invitational with freshman Jon Fortenberry running an NCAA provisional time of 45.71 to finish third in the 400m.

The Gamecock track and field teams, ranked No. 2 on the women’s side and No. 9 on the men’s side, travel to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 29 – June 1 in Baton Rouge, LA.

India Odum was sixth in the shot put at 48′ 1 1/4.

Corey Taylor was seventh in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.74 – an NCAA provisional time.

James Law was seventh overall in the 100m at 10.59.

The USC men’s 4x100m relay was sixth overall at 40.17.
