Columbia, S.C. – Represnting the University of South Carolina at the 2002 Eastern Amateur golf tournament, Alex Hamilton improves to third place after shooting 66 in the second round of action. The Aiken, S.C. native fired a two day total of 134.

USC Teammates, Jake Thompson, Michael Maness, Jason Huguet and Lee Taylor are also competing in this year’s tournament. Thompson shot a two-day total of 140, four-under-par. Maness struggled in the first round shooting 76, but blasted 69 in the second round to finish the day with 145. Huguet shot 153, while Taylor fired 156.

Braxton Wynns leads the tournament with 130.
