The USC volleyball team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage on Wed., Aug. 21 at 6:30 p.m. The scrimmage is open to the public and will be held at the Volleyball Competition Facility at the corner of Blossom and Assembly Streets.

The scrimmage will mark the end of two-a-day practices. Beginning Thursday, the team will proceed with their regular season morning workouts.

A pizza party for Sideout Club members will be held at 6 p.m. prior the scrimmage. All Sideout Club members planning to attend, need to RSVP by contacting the volleyball office at 803-777-0755.

The Gamecocks open the season Aug. 30-31 at the Michigan State Tournament in Lansing, Mich. USC will play Oakland University at 7 p.m. On Aug. 31, USC will play Georgetown at 8 a.m. and No. 15 Michigan State at 8 p.m.
