Columbia, S.C. – Three members of the University of South Carolina men’s tennis team have been invited to compete in the 2002 Icy Hot/ITA Men’s All-American Championships at the Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
In the Main Draw, featuring the nation’s top 46 players, No. 31 Seth Rose and No. 37 Angelo Niculescu will represent the Gamecocks. Meanwhile, No. 89 Marcus Westman received an invitation to compete in the tournament’s Qualifying Draw.
Rose and Niculescu will also be in action in the doubles portion of the tournament. With a No. 46 national ranking, the tandem gained an invitation to the Qualifying Draw of the doubles bracket.
Qualifying Draws begin October 8th, while Main Draw competition runs October 10th-13th.
