Columbia, S.C. – In a release sent out by the Southeastern Conference on Monday, Oct. 14, five South Carolina golfers made the top 40 based on their stroke averages. West Strieb ( 73.33), Martin Rominger (74.0), Michael Maness (74.0), Erik Johansen (74.55) and Spence Andrews (74.67) are the Gamecocks included in the list.

Strieb , who played in his first collegiate tournament two weeks ago, posted a stroke average of 73.33 to land in the top 20 of the SEC.

The team will next compete in Hawaii at the Turtle Bay Intercollegiate Nov. 8-10.
