Columbia, S.C. – Former Gamecock Kyle Thompson fired his second-consecutive three-under-par score of 69 in the fourth round of the PGA Q-School Finals today on the Stadium Course in La Quinta, Calif.

Thompson improved to 34th place after posting a four-round score of 282, six-under-par. The top 35 players, after six rounds of action, receive a PGA Tour Card.

Also representing the University of South Carolina is Brett Quigley, who stands in 18th place.

Both players still have two rounds left one at the Nicklaus course and one at the Stadium Course.
