COLUMBIA, S.C. –
For the third time in their careers, Megan Hosp and Cally Plummer were named to the AVCA South Region All-Region Team. Making her debut on the All-Region team was Niece Curry, while senior Berna Dwyer of Tuscon, Ariz. was named to the Honorable Mention list.

Curry, a sophomore from Kalamazoo, Mich., was eighth in the nation in hitting.
Hosp, a senior from Pasadena, Calif., led the team in aces and averaged 12.3 assists per game in 2002. Plummer, a senior from Indian River, Mich., was ranked 18th in the nation is aces per game.

Only Ashley Edlund, now a team manager for the Gamecocks, has been named to the All-Region team for four years. Of the 12-member team, nine players play at schools in the Southeastern Conference.
