Columbia, S.C. – After two rounds of action at the Tulane Invitational in New Orelans, La., the University of South Carolina men’s golf team stands in seventh place with a two-round score of 609. The Gamecocks shot 301 in the first round and 308 in the second round of play. SMU leads the nine-team field with a score of 584.

Wake Forest stands in second followed by Southern Mississippi and East Tennessee State, who were tied for third.

Sophomore Alex Hamilton, currently tied for 14th, shot a two-round score of 150 (74-76). Eirik Johansen fired 151, to tie for 20th. West Streib stands in 23rd, while Michael Maness holds steady in 36th place. Rominger closes out the five-man team with a two-round score of 159, tying for 38th.

The final round of the Tulane Invitaitonal at the English Turn Golf and Country Club tees off at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
