In front of a sell-out crowd at The Carolina Center, USC senior Chuck Eidson and his teammates will take on Clemson. Eidson spoke to uscsports.com Tuesday about tomorrow’s Clemson game at The Carolina Center.

Q: You guys played really well against Vanderbilt. How are you going to build on that for Clemson?

A: We are going to look and see what we did right and build on those things and keep improving.

Q: How do explain how the team shot against Vanderbilt as opposed to other games?

A: Just it was time for us to have a good game. Once our shots began to fall in, we got a little confidence.

Q: Being a senior from Charleston, what does this game mean to you?

A: Being a SC fan all my life it has been fun to be part of the rivalry and it is going to be fun to play in it. I am excited about tomorrow night and I am sure the team and our fans are as well.

Q: What will you tell your teammates who have not faced Clemson before?

A: You can’t really tell them everything. You will feel it when you get into warm ups. It is something you can’t describe until you are out there

Q: Coach Dave Odom is 7-0 against Clemson Coach Larry Shyatt. How has he accomplished this?

A: He has always had some strong teams and he is a great coach and those two things don’t hurt you. We are going to go out there and execute his game plan and hopefully come away with a victory. We would like to make him 8-0.

Q: What is your favorite Clemson memory up to this point?

A: Coming back from the injury and beating them at Clemson last year. That was a great game.

Q: What are some of the funniest things you have heard from their fans?

A: No comment. You couldn’t print them.

Q: What do you ask of our fans tomorrow?

A: Be Loud! Thanks for coming to the games and supporting us first. Don’t be afraid to get up and cheer and be loud! But be good sports about it. We don’t need to hear a lot of bad language. We need you as our sixth man – we hear you — so be loud!
