Columbia, S.C. — The South Carolina men’s tennis team rose to No. 15 in this week’s Omni Hotel National Rankings. The Gamecocks compiled a 2-0 record last week with victories over Furman, 5-2, and USC-Aiken, 7-0, on Sunday at the Sam Daniel Tennis Center. Sunday’s victory improved USC’s season mark to 7-0, including four shutout victories.

The Gamecocks will be back in action on Friday for the SEC season opener at Mississippi State. Play is scheduled to begin at 2:00.
