Columbia, S.C. – Despite battling the rain, the fourth annual CAPS (Children And Parents Soccer) Clinic, sponsored by the University of South Carolina men’s soccer team and the Columbia YMCA, proved successful once again. Last year’s event raised over $3,900 for the non-profit organization Children’s Chance.

The Gamecock men’s soccer players and staff took time to teach kids the fundamentals of soccer. Due to the inclement weather, the clinic moved indoors at the USC Indoor Practice Facility.

“This year’s event was a great success,” commented Head Coach Mark Berson. “We would like to thank the Columbia YMCA and the USC Athletic Department for their support for our annual charity event.”
