Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s golf team will compete in the Palmetto-Cleveland Golf Collegiate on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18 in Aiken, S.C. The Palmetto Golf Club will host the 54-hole tournament.

Freshman Eirik Johansen will lead the Gamecocks, with Nash Elliot seeded second. Johansen and Elliot both posted top ten finishes at the Seminole Intercollegiate last week. Starting in the third spot, and returning to his home town, is sophomore Alex Hamilton. Martin Rominger will play in the fourth spot with West Steib rounding out the five-man squad. Redshirt Matt Robinson will play as an individual.

Round one of the tournament will tee-off on Monday, March 17 at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Round two will follow immediately after round one, which will also be a shot gun start.
