Columbia, S.C. – Kristy McPherson is a two-time All-American and two-time individual champion at the SEC Championships. McPherson holds many records at South Carolina including the top individual score (207), the most top five finishes (14), and needs one more top 10 finish to tie the school record (McPherson has 21). For four years, McPherson has been the backbone of the Lady Gamecocks, and once again looks to lead her team to another SEC title. McPherson is a senior from Conway, South Carolina and after her collegiate career, plans on competing in the LPGA Tour.
1. When did you start playing golf?
“I started playing when I was eight, but not competitively until I was 14.”

“Sport and Entertainment Management.”

“The strong competition of the SEC and the great friendships of teammates and other teams.”

“Big school and other sporting events.”

“I want to turn pro.”

“Winning the SEC’s as a team and repeating individually.”
