South Carolina returns to Gainesville, Fla., site of the 2003 SEC Indoor Championships, for this weekend’s Florida Relays. Competition begins on Wednesday and continues through Saturday.

A pair of USC athletes recorded top national marks on March 22 at the Weems Baskin Relays in Columbia. Corey Taylor recorded the nation’s best 110m hurdles time, running a 13.84 on day two of the meet. Antoinette Wilks posted the nation’s top long jump of 6.75m/21-4.75 ft. during Saturday competition at the home meet. Her jump is a new school record, besting her own mark of 21-3.25 ft. set in 2002.

South Carolina won a total of 26 events during the two days of competition at last weekend’s Weems Baskin Relays in Columbia.

After this weekend’s Florida Relays, the Gamecocks return home for a pair of meets, highlighted by the SEC Five-Way Meet on Saturday, April 5, which will include Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
