Charleston, S.C. – After two rounds of action at the Azalea Amateur in Charleston, S.C., three Gamecocks are currently in the top 15 – Martin Rominger, Nash Elliot and Alex Hamilton.

Martin Rominger continues to climb the ladder with a two-round score of 141. Rominger elevated himself to fifth place after firing two-under-par 70. Matching Rominger’s score of 70 was teammate Nash Elliot. Elliot is tied for 12th with a two-day total of 143 (73-70).

After struggling in round one of the amateur, Alex Hamilton blasted a second round score of 67, vaulting him in to a tie for 12th with Elliot. Hamilton’s score of 67 was the low round score for the day.

Matt Robinson is tied for 74th with a score of 152.

The final two rounds of the Azalea Amateur, at the Country Club of Charleston, will conclude with weekend.
