Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s golf team heads to Augusta, Ga. this weekend to participate in the Cleveland Golf-Augusta State Invitational. Forest Hills Country Club (par 72; 6,840 yards) will host the two-day event.

The 18-team field includes Alabama, Augusta State, Clemson, Duke, East Tennessee, Fresno State, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, North Florida, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Two rounds of 18 holes will be played on Saturday, April 5, followed by one round on April 6. Both rounds on day one will be shotgun starts, while Sunday’s round will have set tee times beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Making up the five-man squad is Eirik Johansen, Martin Rominger, Nash Elliot, Alex Hamilton and Michael Maness.
