COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina’s Seth Rose was selected to compete in the NCAA Men’s Tennis Singles Championships. He was one of 64 competitors announced by the NCAA and will compete in the Mideast Region. The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 21-26 in Athens, Ga., following the conclusion of the team championship (May 16-20).
Rose, a senior, is currently ranked No. 48 in the nation and was recently named to his second consecutive All-SEC Team.
The 18th-ranked Gamecocks men’s team will face No. 33 Rice in the first round of regional play on Saturday, May 10 in Austin, Texas with match time slated for 3 p.m. EDT.
