Tiffany Ross was one of four women’s regional athletes honored by the United States Track Coaches Association. The sophomore earned the Mondo East Regional Outdoor Athlete of the Year award presented on June 9 in Sacramento, site of the 2003 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Ross won four events at the NCAA East Regional Championships. She claimed titles in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.12, the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 55.89, and led off Carolina’s winning 4×100 relay and ran the second leg on its victorious 4×400 relay.

The Gamecocks begin four days of competition at the NCAA Championships on Wednesday, June 11.
