USC’s Aleen Bailey won the 2003 Jamaican 100m Dash Championship with a personal best time of 11.08. Last weekend, the St. Mary, Jamaica, native won both the NCAA 100m and 200m dash titles in Sacramento, Calif. She advances to compete in the World Track and Field Championships this August in Paris, France.

??I am proud of Aleen and her accomplishment,?? said head coach Curtis Frye. ??To win two NCAA titles and then a national championship the following week is a great achievement.??

Bailey??s time came into a 1.4 headwind at the Jamaican Championships. Last weekend she swept the NCAA 100m and 200m crowns and became the first woman to achieve the feat since 1998.
