COLUMBIA, S.C.- USC golfer Jonathan Jackson rolled to the semifinals of the Championship Flight at the 57th Herald-Sun Golf Classic. The top-seeded Jackson, downed 25th-seeded Ronnie Williams Jr. 7 and 5 at Hillandale Golf Club, in Durham, N.C.

Jackson will face the fourth-seeded Eric Arbery on Saturday, June 21st; tee time is set for 9:12 A.M. Arbery defeated fifth-seeded Reed Darsie 1-Up on the first extra hole of their match.

The other Championship Flight semifinal matches tenth-seeded James Hockman against 27th-seeded Andy Barringer. After two days of qualifying rounds the field was reduced to 32 golfers to compete in a five round match-play tournament.
