University of South Carolina divers made a strong showing at the 2003 Speedo National Diving Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. Andy Bradley, Holly Hodges, Allison Brennan, and Lauren King all competed in events at the Championships last week.

Junior Andy Bradley placed second in the men’s one-meter final on Friday. Bradley’s 398.52 points was only four points short of the first place finisher.

In the women’s three-meter semi-final on Thursday, Allison Brennan placed seventh while Lauren King placed 14th out of 30 overall divers. On Friday, the two combined for 206.82 points to finish sixth in the women’s synchronized three-meter final.

The Gamecock divers were competing for roster spots on the 2003 National Team and Pan American Games Team.
