Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s golf team begins the 2003-04 on Sept. 8-9 at the Cleveland Golf Kiawah Island Collegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. Turtle Point Golf Club will host the two-day, 54-hole tournament. The first two rounds of play will be held on Monday, Sept. 8, followed by one round on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

The 14-team field consists of Alabama-Birmingham, Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Kent State, SMU, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, South Carolina, USC-Aiken and Virginia.

Returning All-American, Eirik Johansen, will lead the team at this year’s tournament hosted by College of Charleston. Also making the five-man squad is Martin Rominger, Alex Hamilton, Robert Svensson and Nash Elliott. Jason Huguet will play as an individual.
