Columbia, S.C. – Fresh off Friday night’s win, the University of South Carolina women’s soccer team (1-2) returns to the field on Sunday afternoon with a 1 p.m. match vs. Dartmouth (1-0) at Stone Stadium. The match is the first between the two schools and represents the final game in a three-game homestand for the USC women’s team.

The Gamecocks earned their first win of the season on Friday night as Ashley Gosnell and Erica Bowie scored in a 2-1 victory vs. Charleston Southern. Carolina outshot the Lady Bucs 19-3 and dominated play on the offensive side for most the match. Dartmouth won its season opener 3-1 on Friday afternoon at Davidson. Dartmouth earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament in 2002. Carolina has not lost a match on Sunday at Stone Stadium since the 2001 season when Mississippi State defeated the Gamecocks 2-1 in overtime in the final SEC game of the season.

Sunday afternoon is also Scout Day, all boy and girl scouts wearing their uniform will get in for FREE. South Carolina players will be signing autographs following the match.
