What is it like being a student -athlete?

I think I am very lucky to be a student athlete because you are treated very well. I am very proud to be a student athlete and enjoy what goes along with it.

What is your favorite thing about USC?

The people. I think the people in the South are nice. I have been a Gamecock forever and I like the city.

What is your favorite part of Equestrian?

I like riding the horse. It keeps your attention and makes you focus on doing your best.

What is your most memorable moment as a rider?

Winning the Hunter Trials. They only have 12 classes and it occurs once a year so to win it is quite an achievement.

What competition are you most looking forward to this year?

I love competing in all IHSA events. I really look forward to competing in them.

What place would you most like to travel to?

California. I have never been and I heard it is a nice place to visit.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I am going to get my CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and hopefully take over my parents’ business.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I will ideally be living in either Columbia, Charlotte or Charleston.

What is your favorite TV show?

Friends or Will &Grace. I love comedy and those shows make me laugh.

What is it like competing for Coach Duncan?

It is rewarding and tough at the same time because she challenges you to do your best.
