COLUMBIA, S.C. –
In the latest poll released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the South Carolina Gamecocks rose to No. 19 in the national rankings. The Gamecocks are the fifth highest ranked team in the Southeastern Conference. Carolina faces No. 15 Kentucky Friday afternoon at the Sam Daniel Tennis Facility in Columbia at 2 p.m.

USC has been ranked as low as 25th but have risen to their highest ranking of the 2004 slate this week with the spot at 19. All SEC teams are ranked in the top 45 while nine of the conference’s 12 teams are in the top 25.
