TODAY —- fans, students and the general public are asked to come to the Colonial Center for a 3 pm send-off pep rally with the Gamecock Basketball Team as they prepare to depart for Kansas City, Mo., for the First Round game against Memphis on Friday.

Fans are asked to arrive around 2:30 pm and park in the lots around the Colonial Center. Members of the band and cheerleaders will be there to get the crowd ready to welcome the team at 3 pm. Coach Odom and senior captain Mike Boynton, Jr. will both speak for a few minutes prior to departing for Eagle Aviation and a 4 pm departure.

The pep rally will be outside the Colonial Center – next to the fountain. If it is raining – it will hold it inside the front doors.
