SCOUTING REPORT
It’s a busy week for South Carolina (12-7, 1-5 Southeastern Conference), who will take a mid-week break from conference play, traveling to arch-rival Clemson (16-10, 1-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) Wednesday afternoon, with play beginning at 2 p.m. The Gamecocks then return to conference action Friday, returning home to host the fourth-ranked Rebels of Ole Miss at 2 p.m. Sunday Carolina hosts the Mississippi State Bulldogs at 1 p.m. at the Sam Daniel Tennis Facility.

AGAINST THE CLEMSON TIGERS
South Carolina begins the busy week Wednesday with a mid-week match at arch-rival Clemson (16-10, 1-4 ACC) at 2 p.m. Carolina owns a 22-12 lead in the all-time series against the Tigers as well as a nine-match winning streak. In 2003, Carolina came away with a 4-3 victory in Columbia. The last time Clemson won a match against USC was a 7-0 Clemson (then ranked 37th) victory on April 18, 1995 in Columbia.

AGAINST No. 4 OLE MISS REBELS
No. 4 Ole Miss enters Friday’s match with a record of 16-1, 7-0 in the SEC. The Gamecocks will not only try to give Ole Miss their first conference loss, but also stop a four match losing streak to the Rebels. Ole Miss leads the all-time series 6-11, with their latest victory over Carolina being a 4-2 win in Oxford in 2003.

AGAINST No. 26 MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS
Sunday South Carolina squares off against Mississippi State, who enters this weekend’s play at 7-7, 2-4 in the SEC. Friday the Bulldogs travel to Gainesville for a 5 p.m. matchup with the No. 9 Gators before heading to Columbia. MSU leads the all-time series vs. Carolina 11-4, but USC has won the past two matches, including a 4-3 victory in Starkville in 2003. South Carolina will attempt to keep that streak alive as they host “State” Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Sam Daniel Tennis Facility.
