NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Inclimate weather in the Nashville area forced officials to move the remainder of the first day of action indoors at the Brownlee O. Curry Tennis Center. USC resumed action at 5:50 p.m. CT. Carolina’s doubles matches against the host Commodores were just underway when the rain began to fall. Stay tuned to USC Sports for more Gamecock Tennis action.

Tennessee and Mississippi State had priority on the indoor courts as their match began before the Carolina-Vandy match. The Gamecocks and the Dores waited through the 4-3 Bulldog victory before resuming action 5:50 p.m. CT.

The LSU-Alabama match was also moved indoors due to rainfall on Thursday morning as No. 5 LSU came away with the 4-0 victory over No. 12 Alabama. The Tigers will face No. 4 Kentucky Friday at 8 a.m. (CT). Following that match, No. 8 Auburn took on No. 9 Arkansas outdoors with Auburn advancing, 4-0, to face top-seeded Ole Miss on Friday at 9:45 a.m.
