COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fresh off the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, where USC won one gold medal, three silver medals and four bronze medals, the Gamecocks turn their focus now to Gainesville, Florida where they will compete in the NCAA East Regional Championship May 28-29 on the UF campus.

The Gamecocks have qualified 31 women in 14 events while the men have qualified nine in eight events. Both teams have also qualified their 4x100m and 4x400m relays. The entire list of qualifiers can be found on the following pages. The top five individual finishers and the top three relay finishers at the regional meet will make the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 9-12 in Austin, Texas.

USC will declare which athletes will run/jump in each event Wednesday, May 26.

Last year at the NCAA Outdoor Championships the Gamecock women were fourth, while the Gamecock men finished 10th. The women have been in the top 10 the past eight years, while the men have enjoyed top 20 finishes each of the last six years, including three finishes in the top 10.
