COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina senior women’s golf standout Adrienne Gautreaux added to her list of honors and accolades on Friday when she was named to the first team of the CoSIDA Academic All-District III Women’s At-Large Team.

Gautreaux, who carries a perfect 4.00 grade point average as a graduate student in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, is a two-time Academic All-SEC nominee and was recently named the recipient of the prestigious Dinah Shore Award, given annually to the nation’s top female collegiate golfer based on her outstanding achievements in academics, natural leadership style, dedicated community service work and extraordinary golf ability.

A native of Mabank, Texas, Gautreaux finished tied for 22nd place at the NCAA Championship, while competing as an individual and was a First-Team All-SEC selection in 2004, carrying a 74.44 scoring average as a senior.

In addition to her academic and athletic achievements, Gautreaux was also involved in community service and represented the women’s golf team on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC).
