The 2004 Wachovia Junior Davis Cup Championship is set for a showdown at 12 noon between the top two seeds, Southern California and Texas. Southern California advanced with a 4-3 win over Southern on Monday. Texas advanced to the championship match with a 5-2 win over Missouri Valley.

Southern California and Texas are the only two teams out of the 17 who brought their top six players from their section. The two teams combine to have six players in the top 20 in the nation. For third place, Southern and Missouri Valley will battle it out at Sam Daniel Tennis Facility at 8:00 am on Tuesday. Florida and will be the 10:00 am match at Sam Daniels. That match will be for fifth place.

The 2004 Wachovia Junior Davis Cup will continue tomorrow starting at 8:00am at the Sam Daniel Tennis Center and the Columbia Tennis Center. All the championship matches will be played at Sam Daniels while back draw contest will be played at the Columbia Tennis Center.
