Columbia, S.C. –
The USC Women’s Equestrian team has announced that it has moved to a new training and competition facility. The facility, One Wood Farm, is owned by Scott and Katie Peterson, and is located at 1201 Syrup Mill Rd in Blythewood, S.C.

One Wood Farm includes features such as a covered arena, three barns that can hold up to 22 horses, two outdoor all weather footing arenas, a sprinkler system for all arenas, along with a locker room and three tack rooms.

“We are very excited and feel extremely fortunate to be moving to One Wood Farm, ” said head equestrian coach Boo Duncan. “It will add a new facet to our program. This facility will provide more room for both western and hunt seat to practice and compete and should benefit our entire riding program.”

USC currently has 20 horses in its program — 12 are hunters and eight are western.

All visits to the facility need to be made by appointment.

The first event at the new facility will be an exhibition against Berry College on September 9 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
