COLUMBIA, S.C. –
The University of South Carolina men’s soccer matche scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 5, at the University of Jacksonville has been postponed. The match has not yet been rescheduled.

The Gamecocks opened their 2004 campaign with a 2-1 victory over William and Mary on Wednesday night in Columbia.

USC is scheduled to return to action next weekend when it plays host to the adidas-South Carolina Gamecock Classic. Bucknell and College of Charleston will kick off the event at Stone Stadium at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10. South Carolina will take on Portland in the nightcap at 7:30 p.m. Play continues on Sunday, Sept. 12, with Portland meeting College of Charleston at Noon. The Gamecocks face Bucknell at 2:30 p.m.
