Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina women’s soccer (3-1) heads back to the field on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. at Stone Stadium in a non-conference match with Iowa State (1-2). Sunday’s match is the second meeting in history between the schools with USC leading the series after a 2-1 win vs. the Cyclones in 2000. Live Audio Broadcast will be available at www.uscsports.com. South Carolina enters the contest following a 4-1 victory over Houston on Friday evening. The Gamecocks have scored 10 goals on the year with eight different players finding the back of the net. USC has been dominating during most period of play as well with a 59-21 shot advantage vs. opponents as well as 33 corner kicks. Three different players lead the Gamecocks in scoring with three points apiece. Jessi Swaim and Courtney Cobbs each have tallied a goal and an assist with Ashley Kirk leading USC in assists with three to lead the Gamecock offense.

South Carolina has had a great deal of success in Sunday home matches at Stone Stadium over the last two seasons. The Gamecocks are 6-0-1 at the Graveyard in Sunday matinees.
