Starting off its season at the Bank of Tennessee at The Ridges Tournament, South Carolina men’s golf team finished tied for seventh with SEC foe Alabama with a score of 879 – 15 stokes over. The University of Tennessee won with a score of 854 – 10 under par.

Individually, USC was led by Alex Hamilton, and West Streib, who both shot 219, three over par, to finish tied for 25th. Robert Svensson shot 70 in the final round to pick up USC’s lowest score for a round, followed by Alex Hamilton (71 in the second round) and Eirik Johansen (71 in the second round).

USC shot a 301 in the first round, 287 in the second round and 291 in the third round.
