Fresh off a 2-0 win over Clemson on Wednesday night, the South Carolina women’s soccer team (5-3) returns to action on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. as the Gamecocks host Charlotte at Stone Stadium. Sunday is also Youth Recreation Day with all youth soccer players wearing their youth soccer jerseys receiving free admission. South Carolina women’s soccer players will also sign autographs following the match.

The Gamecocks enter Sunday’s match with a 15-2 record vs. non-conference opponents at home since the 2001 season, Shelley Smith’s first year as head coach of USC. It is the final non-conference match of the regular season for USC. South Carolina last met Charlotte in the 2002 season in a 2-0 loss at the Puma Soccer Classic at Transamerica Field.

USC will begin conference action next week when the Gamecocks travel to Alabama for matches with Auburn on Friday night and Alabama on Sunday afternoon.
